I can't compete with Drudge on this kind of coverage, but I saw this on Twitter:

What he's saying is that any mass shooting increases calls for gun control—in a way that impacts law-abiding whites hardest, because if you live in the ghetto, you can get an illegal gun.
The Charlie Hebdo staffers had combination locks on the their doors, but as far as I know, no guns.
However, I'd point out two things.
First, the crazed mass shooters aren't necessarily white, whites just get the most press. See The Fulford File | Jezebel: “Have You Noticed That White Dudes Keep Mass Murdering People?” No, We've Noticed You Promoting It.
Second, when you get a mass shooting or other mass murder by a non-white, you get a combined push for gun control (of whites) and a concurrent push against "backlash."
