When I see a headline like Middle School Students Kicked Out Of 9/11 Memorial Site After Throwing Trash In Fountains, by Josh Feldman | Mediaite.com,, June 24, 2012, my first thought, after years of doing this job, is "What kind of students?"

Since the New York Daily News described them as "JHS 292" students, I can get the familiar Greatschools.net chart of Student Ethnicity for New York's JHS 292 and say that they were "black and Hispanic" students. There is only a 1 percent chance that any student at that high school is white. Below the chart, some non-Hispanic white juvenile delinquents, which is who you might expect the headline to be be about.
