"Gunman" ... Reminds me of "strongman" ... Why Do we repeat and promulgate MSM's narrative vocabulary, I wonder? :)

Dan Riehl and Sissy Willis are both conservatives, and I can see Sissy Willis's point, about blaming the gun. Although "gunman" is common parlance, the MSM frequently refers to this kind of thing as "gun violence."

What it really turns out to be, in this case, is black violence, as I found out by clicking on the link. Riehl's blog item includes this:

There’s this report via link below and more from the Journal Sentinel.

A gunman dressed in military fatigues has launched a shooting spree at a suburban Milwaukee mall.

At least seven people have been injured according to a hospital spokesman in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The gunman was reportedly seen fleeing the scene in a 2003 black Mazda.

Of course, while the "gunman" was still at large, the Journal Sentinel, which is actually in Milwaukee, more or less had to include a description for public safety.

The Associated Press, on the other hand, has no qualms about public safety. A description of the suspect, Radcliffe Franklin Haughton, 45, while he was still at large, said:

Police released little about Haughton other than a physical description and a photo. They said he was wearing a grey sweater, jeans, and carrying a white and black backpack. They said he was 6-foot-2, and more than 200 pounds.

Three dead in Milwaukee shooting, suspect shot self , The Denver Post, October 21, 2012.

Another version of this description appears on the same page:

"Radcliffe F. Haughton, 45, of Brown Deer, is wanted by police in a shooting near Milwaukee on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Police said he is 6 feet 2 inches tall and 210 pounds."

That version, believe it or not, appears under a picture of Haughton:

He was described as a bald black man...except in the Asssociated Press.

None of Riehl's follow up tweets refer to the gunman's race. Just another case of underreported black crime, even if you're following conservative bloggers on Twitter.
