Mexico`s One-Man Winter Olympic Team: Hubertus von Hohenlohe
The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, are over, and Mexico sent a one-man team: Hubertus von Hohenlohe, a European aristocrat, born in Mexico while his dad was running a Volkswagen factory in Mexico City.
The flamboyant aristocrat has competed for Mexico in six Winter Olympics, in four of them was a one-man team. Hohenlohe never won an Olympic medal, but then his motto was “If you cannot win, then at least be stylish.”
