A horrific story blowing up across the Internet is that of a white teenager doused with gasoline and set aflame by two black teenagers.

Teenagers poured gasoline on boy walking home from school and set him on fire: cops

Boy's mother says she was told it was a hate crime

Bizarrely, the newspaper for the site of the events, the Kansas City Star, completely omits the racial angle.

Teens attack, burn KC teen headed home from school, March 4, 2012

Said the KC Star, quoting the police report, “This is what you get" was said by one of the perps.

Said the New York Daily News, quoting (the same?) police report, "You get what you deserve, white boy.'"

What's going on? Another case of the MSM not wanting to hurt non-white feelings and censoring crucial information? How can we conclude anything other than some very calculated politically correct censorship here?

Except that most of the MSM is reporting the racial angle. Just not the Kansas City Star.

A man who answered the phone at the KCPD said he thought the racial angle was blown out of proportion. Even so—and even if this turns out to be a "reverse race hoax"—the information is out there.

Maybe someone at the Kansas City Star can explain all this to you.
