Daniel Schorr writes in the Christian Science Monitor:

I have a suggestion to make, namely, that the primary election be abolished altogether and that the nomination simply be awarded to the candidate who has raised the most money.

Now, what needs to be mentioned of course is the reason why folks like Tancredo aren't taken seriously: they simply can't raise the kind of money that spineless sycophants like McCain and corporate oppressors like Mitt Romney can. The Money Game right now in the US boils down to finding new ways to mine the value of US citizenship-and avoiding notice.
