Guzzardi’s article about the growing (at last)
resistance to illegal immigration was most interesting
to me.
Like him, I've long wondered if and when
American blacks would finally realize how much they
stand to lose with a booming Hispanic population.
For years, I've predicted that
blacks would become the “grass widows*” of
American leftist politics. And it certainly appears
that I was something of a foreseer.
*Check the expression “grass widow” in
your dictionary. My
Merriam-Webster refers to “a discarded mistress”.
