A Texas Reader Says Harvard Law Is Awful As Ever

Re: A Reader Is Surprised to See A Harvard Law School Publication Warn of the Hispanicization of the USA

From: Don Reynolds, Austin, Texas

M. Lawlor may have sounded a false alarm here, suggesting that an opinion article by an Asian immigration reformer somehow was representative of Harvard Law or (heaven forbid) that the high altar of Liberalism had somehow been rearranged when no one was looking. (Someone is always looking.)

Might I suggest, you check back only a few months to the October 19, 2006 issue of The Record to review the following news article: "Excerpts from HIP's Open Letter to Chertoff", which was signed by 36 Harvard Law students. (HIP is the Harvard Immigration Project.) You will be relieved to know that Harvard Law Liberalism is completely unchanged, just as you remember it.

It was just a nightmare, so go back to sleep.

Sweet dreams!
