Yes, and here in Panama, just last night in the mall, my wife, daughter and I were looking at all the pics of models on the walls of the almacenes (local stores) and these gals were all white.

My wife remarked to Luisa: You might as well try out to be a model. You're light enough.

And, of course, if you've ever seen a picture of President Martinelli and his cabinet, white is still the way to go in this country of roughly 80-90% blacks, Indians and mulattos.
