Re: Patrick Cleburne's blog post NC’s Tillis Endorsed By Jeb Bush and Renee Ellmers? Gorged With Super Pac Money? Case Closed

From: An American Defense Worker [Email him]

The awful Renee Ellmers has won. Attacking her on the immigration issue failed to unseat her. [5 takeaways from election night, By Peter Hamby, CNN, May 7, 2014]

The question now is how to mitigate her treason in congress and how to win the next time. Ask yourself

  • What went wrong with the Patriotic Reformer campaign?
  • Why didn't the out-of-state money become a negative for her?
  • What can be done to win next time?
Don't be mad about this....organize!

James Fulford writes: The good news is in a recent Patrick Cleburne post:

As I noted in Mark Zuckerberg + Congresscritter Renee Ellmers (NC2) = Dishonesty And Treason the Plutocrat spent several hundred thousand dollars for Ellmers flatly asserting she was against Amnesty which the candidate had repeatedly contradicted.

This being the case, what is really astonishing here is how low the vote share of the winners was. Tillis could only manage 46% of the vote which would have forced him into a runoff in neighboring South Carolina A massive 41% of the vote in NC-2 was cast against Ellmers for a candidate who could barely afford to drive around the district.[After North Carolina: Q – Will Whites Vote For The AdelZuck Party? A – Not Enough]

The constant pressure on candidates like Ellmers can make them rethink actually voting for amnesty.
