01/25/07 - A Reader Points Out That Many Immigrants Pay No Income Tax

From: A Rochester, NY Reader:

I wish to call your attention to an interesting article at www.politico.com  by Josephine Hearn, dated January 24, 2007: "Black Caucus: Whites Not Allowed" .

"Representative Stephen I. Cohen, a white liberal Democrat representing a majority African-American district in Tennessee [VDARE.COM note: Tennessee's Ninth District, which was deliberately drawn to be "majority African-American."], apparently thought that it would be a good idea to join the Congressional Black Caucus, since he '...felt we had interests in common as far as helping people in poverty...'

"But Rep. Cohen found out that there are certain unwritten social 'rules'  after Rep. William Lacy Clay, Sr. (D.-Mo.) circulated a memo saying that the caucus should remain 'exclusively African-American'. His son, Rep. William Lacy Clay, Jr. (D.-Mo.) later added: 'Mr. Cohen asked for admission, and he got his answer.' 'It's an unwritten rule. It's understood. It's clear.' "

Yes, "it's clear", all right. Apartheid is wrong, wrong, wrong...when whites do it in South Africa.
