09/17/08 - A New York Reader Calls George Will A "Bow-Tied Imbecile"

From: Mike Corsano (e-mail him)

As if the New York Times is not already biased for illegal immigration, now this.

Mexican multi-billionaire Carlos Slim purchased a 6.4 percent stake in the New York Times Company for $127 million. [Slim Pickings, By Johnnie L. Roberts, Newsweek, September 11, 2008]

According to a Slim family spokesman: "… the family doesn't intend to try to involve itself in the management of the publishing company."

We'll have to see about that.

Although he lives in southern California, Corsano has rooted for the New York Mets for four decades. His thoughts about diversity in baseball are included in Joe Guzzardi's column here. A previous letter about Corsano's day spent demonstrating on behalf of Jamiel's Law is here

Joe Guzzardi comments: How can the NYT's immigration coverage be worse? Read the story archive of last year's VDARE.COM Fourth Annual Worst Immigration Reporting award winner Nina Bernstein to grasp the magnitude of its bias.

On the other hand, there could be a silver lining. Maybe Bernstein will be fired and replaced by one of the Mexican nationals she is so sympathetic to.
