Rasmussen: 66 Percent Of Americans Don't Want Dangerous Mexican Trucks On The Road

Americans understand that the presence of Mexican trucks will make US highways more dangerous.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 19% of Americans say the U.S. Congress should let trucks from Mexico cross the border and carry their loads on American highways, as Mexican President Felipe Calderon requested.

Sixty-six percent (66%) of U.S. adults oppose lifting the congressional ban on Mexican trucks operating in the United States. Fifteen percent (15%) are not sure.

Uninsured, Maybe. Americans, No.

Michelle Malkin reports that in the Portsmouth Town Hall,

Obama asserted that “nearly 56 million” Americans are uninsured — ratcheting up the fuzzy math.

Remember, many of the uninsured are not Americans, and it would be cheaper to fund a massive deportation program than try to insure all the illegal Mexicans doing dangerous jobs.
