The United Nations said [special rapporteur] Doudou Diene [a Senagalese lawyer] would meet federal and local officials, as well as lawmakers and judicial authorities during the May 19-June 6 visit.
Some of the labor problems farmers face, which make them claim that they need illegal cheap labor to continue to farm, are self inflicted: they've made a decision to produce crops that have to be picked by hand, unlike wheat, for example.
