Myers Nomination Passes Committee--Over To You, Senate

I am not proud of what I am about to write and before you continue reading there is something you should know: I am fairly certain that events today mark the beginning of Armageddon...keep an eye out for locusts.

This morning...crikey, this is difficult...I applauded Democrats and jeered Republicans.

Despite my express instructions, the nomination of Julie Myers to head ICE passed the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs by a 7-2 party-line vote.

Obama and Durbin vs. America

llinois Sens. Barack Obama and Richard Durbin, like most politicians, remind me of that classic line heard in nearly every Hollywood Western movie of the '40s and '50s:

"White man speak with forked tongue."
